Bucharest, March 26, 2008 – Grapefruit has recently branded the new water-based paint from Köber, one of Romania’s top manufacturers. The process started with brand analysis and strategy, and progressed to creating the brand’s verbal and visual identity.
Grapefruit first analysed the target audience and then recommended the creation of a premium brand that would guarantee the product’s top-quality. At a later stage, Grapefruit proposed Zertifikat as the name for the new brand and designed the packaging following a simple creative line meant to support the image of a professional product.
The project spanned over three months and aimed to create a brand as relevant as possible in the face of current competition. As part of Köber’s Professional range of products, Zertifikat will be marketed nation-widely, through the company’s distribution network.
“We chose to work with Grapefruit due to its reputation. And we never regretted doing do. This goes to show that the proverb all that glitters is not gold doesn’t always hold true. We worked closely together on this project due to Grapefruit’s ability of understanding our needs and interpreting market demands,” said Köber Marketing Director Ştefan Barna.

In March 2008, CAP developed the advertising campaign for the launch of Zertifikat.
