Grapefruit Design rebrands Actimed to Velfina

Iasi, March 30, 2004–Actimed Emergency Systems, a Romanian medical company active since 2001 in both domestic and European markets, has recently rebranded to Velfina, following a process led by Grapefruit Design, which created the brand strategy, new name and visual identity.
Seeking to reflect the major changes that redefined the company and its activities, Velfina employs a new identity that optimally positions it within the targeted professional sector, both at home and abroad. The abstract symbol and the newly created name are strongly associated with notions defining the field of wound management: the caring hand and, respectively, the fabric used to manufacture bandages.

Our traditional (European) market has quickly and positively reacted after we introduced our new brand identity at the MEDICA 2003 international fair in Düsseldorf-Germany.
