Iasi, May 16, 2003–Grapefruit Design has recently earned an Outstanding Achievement at the Texas Interactive Media Achievement Awards for 2003, as well as a Silver accolade at the American Design Awards' Monthly Design Contest, for the corporate web site it has designed for Media Engine LLC of Austin, Texas, at www.mediaengine.com.
The TIM Awards were presented, and the outstanding achievement recognized, at the South by Southwest Interactive Festival on March 9, 2003, where the MediaEngine web site won the Outstanding Achievement (first place) in the Marketing category. Organized by Austin Area Multimedia Alliance, the TIM Awards were conceived to spotlight Texas multimedia and interactive products and information services notable for their achievement and deserving of public recognition.
The ADA Monthly Design Contest has awarded a Silver accolade (third place) to the same MediaEngine site in the April 2003 edition of the contest. Organized by the American Design Awards, a professional organization with over 12,000 active members, the ADA Monthly Design Contest reviews and professionally grades orginal artwork submitted by designers, artists, design firms, advertising companies and corporate art departments worldwide.
