A lot of the today’s digital agencies look at their campaign’s strategy only from the eye of bits and pixels, forgetting one very important thing. The real life happens. And it happens outdoor. The life happens out there.
The main thing we tend to forget is that technology is here to help us, not to replace us or to replace the medium we leave in. Keeping this in mind we will be able to better integrate mobile technology in the campaign’s strategy for better results. Today, this is probably one of the few things that can separate a good campaign from a brilliant campaign.
Mobile gives us the WOW factor, predictability, measurement, interaction directly with our users and it can help us think campaigns that genuinely can change people’s lives. Whether we are talking about Augmented Reality in-store activations or billboard scanning or we talking about Shazam video ads recognition or geofencing marketing campaigns, we must have one thing in mind:
Mobile is here to stay. So is outdoor.
