The customer
121 Marketing is a direct marketing company, whose current portfolio includes a significant number of important customers that are active on the Romanian market: Billa, Carrefour, Cesarom, DoMo, Henkel, Procter & Gamble, Univers’All.
The challenge
The company was set up in 2000 and was initially called 121 Mail. Shortly afterwards, it significantly increased its audience reach, as well as the range of services it provided, by including data management, drop mail, field marketing, e-mail marketing and sales promotion alongside the classic direct mailing services.
At the beginning of 2003, the growing popularity of 121 Mail triggered the start of a rebranding process aiming to design and consolidate a new company philosophy. The first stage was the identification of the corporate brand values and personality, followed by changing the company name from 121 Mail to 121 Marketing, and adopting a new slogan: ‘hugs ‘n smiles’.
The solution
The new 121 Marketing corporate identity is one of the results of the rebranding process successfully carried out with the help of Grapefruit. Featuring a human shape in a dynamic pose, the new logo suggests an innovative and energetic company, which combines very high standards with a philosophy based on a direct, personalised, warm and friendly relationship with its customers. Grapefruit implemented the 121 Marketing identity in various areas, such as personalised stationary and the new corporate website www.121marketing.ro.
